Colby Steckly Christmas Party!Posted by Renee Frechette on
Last year for our Christmas party we decided to volunteer with Santa’s Anonymous, wrapping gifts for children in need. This year, Santa’s Anonymous had so many volunteer applications that we couldn’t even get a spot! Although we were a bit sad, it’s great that so many people are getting involved this year they had to turn down applicants, GO EDMONTON!
This year we still wanted to give something back to the community, so we have decided to donate to The Mustard Seed by building backpacks and mugs of joy. The Mustard Seed is a wonderful local non-profit that builds hope and wellbeing for our most vulnerable citizens. They have been helping the homeless in Alberta since the 80’s, and continue to grow each year.
If you would like to help us build backpacks, let us know and you can join us the afternoon of December 1 for putting everything together (please e-mail us by November 30th the time you are planning on dropping in).
If you would like to donate, you can do so by dropping off items on the list (see picture below) at our office before December 17 and we will happily build and deliver the backpacks or mugs to the Mustard Seed on your behalf.
